Default [09-03-09] Southbound DART delays

DART stopped in Pearse at 09.40 and driver announced that due to "an incident at Landsdowne Rd", the DART would remain there for "a while". Said DB were honouring rail tickets, so presumably the delay is likely to indeed be "a while".

DART and Commuter services are currently suspended between Pearse and Dun Laoghaire Stations, following a person on the line being struck by a train near Lansdowne Road Station. The emergency services are currently attending the scene.

That's rather unfortunate. Suspending all the way to Dun Laoghaire seems a bit much though.

Once again, the 'realtime' system at 10:15 was showing delays of only a couple of minutes.

By "Southbound", do I take it that they mean southside? Someone travelling Dun Laoghaire to Pearseis travelling northbound.

I think it was just me who said "southbound" - at the time all I knew was that the s'bound DART I was on was delayed.
