[09-03-09] Southbound DART delays
DART stopped in Pearse at 09.40 and driver announced that due to "an incident at Landsdowne Rd", the DART would remain there for "a while". Said DB were honouring rail tickets, so presumably the delay is likely to indeed be "a while".

That's rather unfortunate. Suspending all the way to Dun Laoghaire seems a bit much though.

And they're back
Rail services resume: Pearse to Dun Laoghaire by Corporate Communications
9th March 2009, UPDATE 11.30hrs DART and Commuter services have resumed between Pearse and Dun Laoghaire Stations, following an earlier incident in which a person on the line was struck by a train near Lansdowne Road Station. Iarnród Éireann apologises for the inconvenience caused. |
Once again, the 'realtime' system at 10:15 was showing delays of only a couple of minutes.

By "Southbound", do I take it that they mean southside? Someone travelling Dun Laoghaire to Pearseis travelling northbound.
