Default [5/10/2008] Longford Cancellations

Quote:
Sunday 5th October - Longford Service Cancellations by Corporate Communications

Iarnród Éireann advises passengers that due to operational difficulties, the following Longford services are cancelled on Sunday 5th October:

16.10hrs Pearse to Longford.

19.20hrs Longford to Connolly.

Iarnród Éireann apologises for any inconvenience caused.
Normally there is a bus to replace the 19:20 but this time no, which is a pain since it will really impact on a large number of students coming back into Dublin

I've noticed that IE (and NIR) use 'operational difficulties' an awful lot.

Can't they expand on it?

Well, they can use the 20:15 instead; that'll be a 22K and more comfortable anyway.

However, the 1920 is still shown on the timetable search system, which is unhelpful.
