Default Monthly Travel Cost

Can any one advise me if there is a ticket available which covers 5 daily return trips from Newbridge to Hesuton or better still if there is a ticket which cover a months worth of ruturn trips on the same destination. Also the costs involved if possible. Cant seem to locate these fares on the IE website !

Its a source of great comfort that a "customer focused" company like IE cannot eveb provide this basic information on their website. Thanks Mark I would appreciate if you could source this info.::

Well we is working on the website inquiry thing ourselves, be easy but IE have so many exceptions to the system

Fares from Newbridge are

Weekly
€44:50 to Heuston, add 5.10 for Bus/Luas add on

Monthly
€161.00 to Heuston, add 20.00 for Bus/Luas add on

Default How can they be exceptions ?

Mark,

I think RUI is doing great work, but I don't think we should be excusing the inability of IE to provide accurate information on their website.

I accept that they may have some weird pricing structures, but if their booking system can handle them when you turn up at the ticket desk then why cannot this information be made available via the web ?

Well we are working to provide it as a result of Irish Rails failure to do so, one of the top hits on our site is irish rail fares

Guarantee you if we get a half decent system set up Irish Rail will deliver something within a month or two. They have promised it for about 3 years and there is no excuse for the continued failure to deliver the facility

Our problem in doing this is we know most of the fares but not the exceptions. IE know all the fares. Research has shown Irish Rail have misled the public as to how the fares are calculated in the first place
