Dart services are suspended between Howth and Howth Junction/Donaghmede due to an overhead line fault.

We are working to rectify the fault. However, services are not expected to resume until mid-morning/noon at the earliest.

Dublin Bus will accept rail tickets for customers travelling to and from Howth, Sutton and Bayside. Customers are advised to transfer between rail and bus services at Raheny.

Iarnród Éireann apologises for the inconvenience caused.
Still though, still not telling us the fault it at Sutton.

If getting the bus, get train to Rahney and change

I passed over Sutton level crossings this morning at 8:15 and there was a new DART jap set stopped on the northbound line approx 100m west of the crossing. The traffic signals were flashing but the gates were up. Two lads were there in hi-vis jackets waving traffic through. Didnt notice any damage but then I wasnt looking for any..eyes on the road and all that.

Sounds like another Jap set bringing the wires down, 3 of the last 4 dewirements have been Japanese sets

What do you think is causing it? It the pantographs set incorrectly on the Jap sets?. Did this happen prior to the cable renewal a few years back?
