May Bank Holiday Weekend Disruption
Platform 11, Ireland's National Rail Users Organisation has learnt that on Saturday and Sunday 5th and 6th of May services from Heuston will heavily disrupted.
There is no notice on the Iarnród Éireann website nor was it contained in the newsletter we received by email this morning. At least 4 weeks notice should have been given. Is it only the above services that will be affected? I was planning on getting the 15:31 Portlaoise to Heuston on the saturday, and there is a Leinster game that evening so its important I don't get delayed.

Hang on , if this is enhancement work does it not break the customer charter ?
[ I know there may be an exception for urgent repairs, but this isn't the same thing perhaps ] |

Surprise surprise at 5pm IE put this up, note it doesn't show many of the changes in particular the 18:30 to Tralee now leaves 18:40 and calls almost every stop to Tralee (normally non stop to Thurles)
We where 36 hours ahead with the info and still are ahead since we have all the changes not just what IE want to tell you Quote:
