There isn't another timetable change happening on the Heuston side in 13 days time - if there is I will eat my hat. My understanding is that there is a strong possibility of another two years of works before we finally get the running time improvements. |

Berney is 100% correct. Also, where are they going to magic up these trains from? I suppose in some dewy eyed future when the PPT is a commuter railcar there will be spare 22K availability but not till then. Besides the 22k's are about to get into a cycle of heavy mainatance in the coming years but we assume that'll be run without any massive problems. |
