![]() Update at 18:00
DART and Commuter services are operating with delays up to 30 mins due to an earlier line closure between Grand Canal Dock and Connolly Stations on request by GardaÃ* and an earlier points failure at Clongriffin. Delays of 30 mins southbound towards Bray at 19.30.......

![]() They are back to low rail adhesion this morning due to lack of a better excuse. Why they can't just use "can't be bothered" as an excuse is beyond me.

![]() Would have thought conditions this morning were ideal ! Maybe it's the stuff they are putting on the track. Travelled on the 0700 ex Cork this morning, about 10 late into Heuston due a multitude of slacks and possibly a signal check or two due to traffic ahead beyond Portlaoise. Not a hint of slipping or sliding.
This really seems to be primarily a DART issue and possibly a training issue - there is a massive variation in journey times often between successive services. Just a thought but is the sandite train/applicators improving or dis-improving matters ? |
