thats a very misleading headline, the fares are not going up this year.

anyway

minister v has stated that the private bus companies have hit the rail numbers. presumably this is anecdotal evidence as i am not aware of any surveys being done, that said we are not idiots its bound to have happened.

so, the ball is back in the CIE court. looking for the 6% rise is akin to double faulting.
