Track Works - Birdhill-Roscrea, Tuesday 20th to Saturday 24th March

Due to Track Works between Birdhill and Roscrea from Tuesday 20th to Saturday 24th March, the 10.05 service from Ballybrophy to Limerick will be substituted by buses.

Iarnród Éireann regrets any inconvenience this may cause.

I doubt you would need a big bus for that duty. A Transit bus would do the job. Maybe even a car.

they are relaying just outside Nebagh at the Roscrea end!

we have reported on the replacement bus experiance in the past, for it gets to the station way before the arrival time of the train, causing a lot of hanging around. on one occasion we know of, there was nobody on the bus, just the driver. so he basicly drove himself from limerick to Ballybrophy, and had to stop for long periods of time at each station on the way.

Not much use if the tamping/stressing crew is not also scheduled to appear.
