![]() So I hear Queen are playing the Curragh and the Rock of Cashel and a band called the Obama Administration is playing in Dublin. For some reason this will bollix up Dublin transport and the M7
![]() Seriously though are those gits in IE going to at least have all Mk4s and max length DARTs rolling to backstop the LUAS/DB/BE/Aircoach disruption likely? Irish Rail - we never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity ![]() |

![]() Irish Rail will be subject to service suspensions on the order of the gardai to allow various motorcades to pass under bridges in the city centre
These will be short term measures There is no scope for additional capacity at peak times

![]() Do MI5 really believe that Darts run to a timetable, where you could estimate the queen will be under the bridge at Tara street and a dart would be passing overhead, to detonate something? Highly likely to be sitting in Bray( due to operation difficulty) at the time instead of Tara Street.

![]() There is a train every 2.5-3 minutes over the bridge at morning peak. Irish Rail will be notified 10 minutes or so ahead. Signaling centre will hold trains and will release them when instructed. In most cases the delay won't be noticed.
A train stationary on the loop line outside Tara Street gives excellent line of sight on the quays and therein is the risk Red Line Luas services will also be effected

![]() Any possibility to change the non-CDE Dublin-Cork servcies to CDE sets considering the N7/M7 is going to be closed for substantial periods?
