I switched and saved 100 euro a couple of months back using this offer. The one other thing that Allianz seem to have over all other insurers is that they cover breakdowns in the UK as well as Ireland, so additional peace of mind too.

Depends on the individual situation. I checked with this offer, and it was the highest premium I was quoted.

Ditto - for the craic I just checked out that page and got a quick quote, and it was so high as to be beyond obscene. In fact it was more than twice what I'm paying now.
