New Phoenix Park station
Hi
Have I got reason to be concerned ? My train is normally the 8:23 Ashtown to Bray express. Since Docklands opened, the cramming has certainly reduced. In August, the new Phoenix Park Station will open, along with a nice park and ride. With no changes to the numbers of trains, do people think the train will be full 'to the gills' by the time it reaches ashtown ? Tks John |

The 7:22 Maynooth Connolly is currently only 4 coaches, that will become 8 from August
The 7:48 Maynooth Connolly may or may not be 8 coaches currently but will be 8 coaches from August I still hold the view that there are a lot of people who could use the Docklands service who are not, bear in mind Broombridge Docklands is 7 minutes where as Broombridge Connolly varies from 12 to 15 minutes |

Yes thats correct, I get the train at Broombridge and sometimes go to Docklands, flys in in 7 to 8 minutes.
Btw, any more news on the Pelletstown station, I've read that construction could be starting in January of next year, along with the town centre and marina planned for the top of the site (near the Rathoath Road) |

Worst case scenario, I had planned to use the dockland service
in the morning - it's a brisk 10 min walk to Connolly where it is not normally too long to pick up a train to Blackrock. Net, one would lose about 10 mins. Not too bad considering we zoom home most evenings ( about 35 mins from Blackrock direct ) |

You mean why would you be going through the Phoenix now?
or the fact there's a station called Phoenix Park, not in the phoenix park even though there's a railway line through the phoenix park? IE vs FR Sh1te customer service and now serving not where the stop says too. pity about no cheap fares though. |

Looks like there is still a load of work to be done to the station.
Does anyone know the scheduled completion date ? Also, when will the trains be redirected onto the route ? Thanks |
