Access is to be improved from the Cherry Orchard side - the new 'town centre' is to be located on the vast tract of wasteland to the right of the new station which will alter the emphasis of the area.

Overall approx 1800 units are to be built as part of the town centre scheme with a further 1000 as part of park west 'sector three', which encompases the undeveloped area around the days hotel.
