Default [5-3-2007] Another brakedown

The Sligo set is out making a round trip. Coach related fault it appears

Quote:
Enterprise - 1030 Belfast Central to Dublin Connolly 5-Mar-2007 8:35
Due to earlier mechanical difficulties the 1030 Enterprise from Belfast to Dublin will now operate as a non-Enterprise service. As such 1st Plus is not available and catering will be limited.

Enterprise - 0735 Dublin Connolly to Belfast Central 5-Mar-2007 8:28
Due to mechanical difficulties the 0735hrs Enterprise from Dublin to Belfast will be delayed by 25 minutes. This service will operate as a non-Enterprise. As such 1st Plus is not available and catering will be limited.
Edit yes the spelling is brakedown, its most likely those darn brakes again

Its very well looked after and word is it will be back running 6 days a week later this month, word been going around since January

No reports of delay on the return leg again exposing the fact a 75mph train is more than able to match the 90mph enterprise

That makes 4 enterprise services run by non enterprise in the last week

I did notice the train going past us this morning as our enterprise was running late. I thought it was going to Drogheda as a commuter train

Also the Gatwick set worked the 16:10 ex Belfast & 19:00 ex Dublin today Thats the second time in under a week its been to Dublin.

Those brakes must really be welded on this time.

Also what is it with the filler all over the DD coaches? Even the 80 Class never looked as bad as the DD coaches look at the moment.

The 7:30 ex Dublin was replaced by a Mk2
The 10:30 ex Belfast was replaced by a Mk2
The 13:20 ex Dublin ran as a DD set
The 16:10 ex Belfast ran as the NIR gatwick set
The 19:00 ex Dublin ran as the NIR gatwick set

Looks like they patched the train up in Dublin and sent it home for repair
