My sister's story was that she got the bus into town for something instead of the usual school bus home. She then hopped on a 16/16A intending to get to Terenure and ended up in Santry.

This same sister is a credit to private education when it comes to public transport as well. She knew that any 15 15A 15B 15D 15E or 15F would get her home, so she thought maybe the 15O would as well (O as in "O" not as in zero)

Judging from her apparent lack of knoledge of public transport, is a forum on its flaws and short commings really going to be on her reading list?

As Saturday approaches, its time to bump the thread.

The media have played up this whole Southsider on the Northside thing and I have started a thread on it out of curiosity. The thread has discovered that there is indeed a poor representation of the Southsider, in relation to the Northside. I think this is absolutely terrible albeit true in some circumstances. What really annoyed me today was the fact that the Right Hook is continuing to do its Friday of a rugby weekend outside broadcast from the Lansdowne Hotel on Pembroke road. (deep deep southside)

Would the cause of the Southsider not be better served if George (he being from Cork like) had done his outside broadcast from a hotel on the northside near Croke Park, or are the media dahlings still caught up in the perception that I intended portraying in my original post and unintentially fuelling this "division" of cultures.

George Hooks son is manager of the Lansdowne, that's the only reason that the broadcasts come from there.
