![]() How much does the Department of Transport pay for Media and PR "Advice"?
This is the sort of Picture which can follow (folly) a Polititian through his/her political career. Considering how the Minister was very Keen to get these new vehicles on the road prior to Christmas,it would have been a basic yet effective piece of PR to have had Minister Cullen travel on one of the new Buses in service as far as Kildare St and thence to be dropped off almost directly outside Leinster House. Sadly the picture neatly encapsulates the entire internal thrust of this Department and demonstrates to a great degree why events such as the ongoing Luas saga can happen. Next please...... ![]() |

![]() It reminds me of Joe Walsh's very honest comment that following 15 years as a minister he would need to "learn to drive again" upon stepping down to join the backbench
