New "Oranmore" Station being built

It looks like work has commenced at the new station called Oranmore. The site is currently being cleared.

Sadly, the station is about a mile from Oranmore.

On Friday evening I went to take the 18:05 train from Galway to Attymon. The train terminated at Athenry. Bus transfers were then provided to Ballinasloe but not Attymon or Woodlawn.
