Has Dunboyne line and Point Luas line with a realigned Docklands

its a mess - I know they're constrained by the oblong format, but I think they could do better than this - they should leave off the more farflung destinations like Athlone and Carlow (which wasn't on the previous version either) for a start.

It comes in both an english and irish version as well

The map does cover all stations which have suburban class services in the Dublin region

its trying to cover too many bases - Athlone and Carlow are not in the Dublin region, sure people do commute from them but there's only a handful of actual commuter trains. Also there's not much point including a tiny portion of the Luas network.

actually just found this discussion from when they originally introduced this design - I stand by my comment then of "its a rubbish map" and they've made it worse as they've crammed more info in. This was my suggested alternative at the time.

I'm wondering if the diagonal text is as hard to read than vertical writing.

The advantage of vertical writing would be bigger text.

It's misleading that the blue commuter lines have arrows pointing further at their terminus's. It suggests Commuter trains travel all the way to Sligo, Belfast and every other intercity destination.

Well, in the Sligo case that's sometimes true and in the Belfast case you do see 29s in Newry these days!
