Docklands to main lines
If we have to use the docklands train, to get a service to Blackrock,
it is quicker to walk to Connolly or to Pearse ? |

Its marginally further to Pearse, about 15 minutes vs 12 minutes but since it takes a train over 5 minutes to reach Pearse from Connolly Pearse is the better option

In the morning rush, chances are you will have trouble getting on in Connolly, by Pearse the train is almost empty

Have been doing the Docklands to Pearse run for the past month now starting
with the 07:56 service A few observations : 1. Only missed 08:22 Pearse to Bray once - this was due to train breaking down. 2. The 08:22 has never been more than 2 to 3 mins late. It can be an artform getting there in time - getting the pedestrian lights can make all the difference. 3. With a decent bit of wetgear, the rain/wind is not a problem. 4. Always get a seat at Pearse |

Note that there are secure bicycle parks at Pearse (Westland Row) and Docklands (under the railway arches).
