Default [18-11-2007] Cross border disruption

Enterprise - Service Disruption 18-Nov-2007 10:28
Translink wish to advise passengers that the Dublin Line is currently closed between Dundalk and Newry due to a boulder on the Line.

An update will follow.

[I posted this at 1026. Translink's clock always seems to be a few minutes fast on their website reports]

The line was re-opened in the course of the morning but I have just had a call from a passenger on the 1500 ex Belfast to say there is a bomb scare at Lurgan and the line is closed Lisburn-Portadown (1500 is stopped at Lisburn)

Translink - Security Alert Between Lurgan and Newry 18-Nov-2007 15:31
Translink rail services will be disrupted due to a security alert betwen Lurgan and Newry.
Translink will organise for a bus substition service to cover stops.
Update to follow.

Now heard that the 1600 Enterprise from Dublin failed at Drogheda and has been replaced by a 29000
