Default Leixlip - Louisa Bridge

Hi ,
I am looking in to getting the train to work instead of the car and
I am wondering what the parking situation is like at Leixlip Louisa Bridge Station in the mornings around 8 am ?

Also,is there much chance of getting a seat on the train at this time ?

/Tommy

Louisa Bridge got a new 340 space car park last year, previously was only 30 spaces, should be space

It is however charged for by those ever so friendly people in irish rail, who just want to rip you off

No chance of a seat

Actually you can get a seat in Louisa Bridge a lot of the time.

I'd say that 50% of folks getting on there will get a seat on some services like the 6:58, 7:48 and 7:58 ex Maynooth.

After that stop, no chance.

Parking is €2 for a 24 hour period, or €5 for a 7 day period (e.g. Wed 8am to Wed 8am)

Not insignificant considering you're already paying a train fare, but much better than being hounded in a housing estate in Maynooth by some saddo resident that has nothing better to do than stand along a road at half seven on a wet winters morning in a luminous jacket with a (probably fake) solicitors letter intimidating people trying to get to their place of work.
There are ample parking spaces at LLB.

Unless you have your four leafed clover, forget about getting a seat on any train departing LLB between 07.30 and 08.30.

The exception is the 08.25 which is a good train to get, as it departs Maynooth shortly after an express train from Sligo which scoops up most of the passengers.
It also doesn't tend to be delayed much as it's behind an express train as opposed to other slow commuter trains
