Question Help I can't use my computor properly

I have a problem that maybe one of you IT guys out there may be able to help me on.

When I connect a second monitor to my laptop (running windows xp) I can't for some reason open any photo slide shows onto the second monitor , I've tried 3 different types(AseeDsee, Canon and HP) I can drag all other applications and windows onto the second screen but no matter what I try the slide show always opens on the laptop and I can't figure out how to move it

Sounds as if you have to change your graphics settings...try this:

Right click on Display, go to Properties, click on Settings click on Advanced.

One of the 6+ tabs that you will now see will give you the settings for your external display. Your laptop may only allow one display to be the 'primary display', which will be the one where the slideshow displays on.

Or you could just get a mac
