Default Clongriffin - Attack of mob with knives and other weapons

Gang of youths at least 5 in number, possibly more went on a rampage at Clongriffin approx 2230 Tuesday night

To be fair in most EU cities suburban stations are rarely staffed but there is a much greater security and revenue protection focus. I would have my ticket checked once in a 3 day visit to Berlin happy to bet on it, I can go months without a check in Dublin.

Its the risk of getting caught, and its just not very high in Dublin.

Even had Clongiffin been staffed a single staff member would have been no match, the troublemakers are believed to have travelled from another station

Clongiffin has been nothing but trouble since it opened, complete suspension of service post 20.00 should be in place indifferently. If you visited the station you would see its destroyed.
