Default Seapoint Station

After a 8 year wait work has finally got underway at Seapoint station

Sometime early on Sunday 7th December the foot bridge at Seapoint was craned out and a new temporary bridge was brought into use at the north end of the station

As is typical the original plans to build a proper modern station (which had planning permission) have been junked in favour of a cheap and nasty rebuild which will be incredibly tight on space.

Of course there is no notice on the Irish Rail website telling you this is ongoing, or of the rather long roundabout walk you have to make (its going to get longer shortly) to get to the southbound platform. And the notice at the station gives no indication of duration
