Doors closing on us
I was on a southbound DART a couple of weeks ago going from Pearse to Sandymount (it happened to be a six-carriage set at peak time and was jammed, but that isn't the point). I was in the last carriage which was one of two old-fashioned cars (sorry I don't know the technical name) attached to four modern cars, and I had to get out to let other people out when we stopped at Lansdowne Road, as did two or three others. Just after the people finished getting out, I stepped back on at which stage the doors closed on me without warning. I stepped clear into the carriage safely, but I could have been hurt; meanwhile the other three people were left waiting 20 minutes for the next train!

The DART original coaches don't have obstacle detection or the door warning buzzer on the doors, the refurbished version has both as do all other DART coaches.
In this situation it is hard to see why the driver proceeded to close the doors and pull away with several people very close to the train. There shouldn't be anyone between the train and the yellow line when the driver closes the doors And you where in coach 8101, see we know everything here.
