The only one with a point is the refunds for delayed trains and not allowed to redeem them online.

The others are just moaning because they didn't comply with rules or decided to plan a last minute service. I would be surprised if the person traveling from Killarney decided within 90 minutes of departure and I'm sure the parent had a debit or credit card they could of used if they were organised to purchase an online ticket. Purchase of student tickets is make very clear before they require payment.
