I'm at Heutson. Modestly busy. South quays very congested due to snow and people heading home.

Army on duty clearing ice from the bus / Luas area.

10-30 minute delays on Heuston arrivals. Up to 40 minute delays on Dublin-Cork services.

EnterpriseTrain #Ent - 1320 Dublin-Belfast & 1610 Belfast-Dublin will be non-Enterprise with limited catering and no 1st Plus.

EnterpriseTrain #Ent - 10:35 Belfast-Dublin is operating approx. 100 minutes late, due to a barrier failure at Dunmurry.

Up to 1 hour delays to southbound DARTS this morning.
The Malahide to Bray DART due in at 08.39, arrived 09.22am. This also had a significant impact on southbound Drogheda trains.
I was on the 07.24am Drogheda-Pearse service which was only 4 carriages. We ended up leaving passengers behind at Suburban stations, crazy stuff with significant overcrowding. Driver apologised, blamed 'unprecedented demand'. This also ran about 20 mins late, behind the delayed Malahide DART.

Then my 12.25 Pearse-Drogheda return service failed at Pearse Street. A replacement was provided 30 minutes later, but was only 4 cars. Again, significant overcrowding. Not sure if many were left behind at Connolly, as I was the other side of the train.

Just spoke to someone who told me the following Pearse-Drogheda was also 30 mins late, due to the previous train (I assume they swapped sets). It was only 4 cars and again, significant overcrowding. Confirmed that lots of passengers left behind at Connolly.

Not a good day for DART/suburban rail users.

Why does IE have such difficulty putting up the seat reservations on the digital screens?
On a packed train from Heuston and they put the names up 2 mins before departure, so all the annual/monthly ticket holders end up potentially being kicked out of seats by last minute arrivals with their gaggle of shopping bags. So bloody annoying!

Default Real time info failed

Real time is currently showing the 1320 ex Dublin Enterprise as 124 minutes late when in fact it is "only" 22 minutes late and is confirmed as a 29K

IrishRail Cork and Limerick services delayed, ESB power fault affecting signalling, working to restore.
Tralee also affected.
