Default Warning - Rosslare engineering work - timetable wrong

Driver, ticket inspector and the timetable on the website all gave specific and delayed departure times for this service today. Arrived at Wicklow this morning to get the 07:48 train to be told it had left. There was a group of us there so I wasn't the only one and naturally we're all fuming!

Can we find out what the situation is for Monday and Tuesday?

Very very sloppy operation but not unprecedented. Some of the changes in the September timetable went un-noticed by operating staff with trains being dispatched weeks later (typically at the start of the week for several weeks) at the old rather than the new (later) advertised times.

The revised temporary schedules on the Rosslare line are utterly farcical. The 0535 from Rosslare is supposed to arrive in Greystones at 0804 and wait there until the 0700 from Malahide arrives at 0820. The alternative of delaying the virtually empty southbound DART for 5 minutes would seem to be a far better alternative. The 0720 from Rosslare is scheduled to arrive in Greystones at 0932 and wait until 0951, again to avoid delaying a near empty southbound DART.

Yes, I know these lightly loaded southbound DARTs form less lightly loaded northbound services, but in both instances have a ten minute turn-around time - a delay of 5 minutes to the arriving sevice need not compromise a timely soutbound departure.
