Default day return from heuston to sallins

Am I correct in seeing a day return from heuston to sallins to €14?

Why is it that expensive?

twice the price of the bus

Cause you can't get a bus to sallins?

Its in the edge of Dublin limbo, it really should be the same fare as Balbriggan

It might be bad, but Newbridge is actually more expensive per mile

Do you have a per-mile breakdown per ticket of journeys to/from Dublin from Kildare route stations ? Be interesting to see how relatively more expensive the tickets become as you move further inland. Ticket prices shouldnt vary pro rata on the basis of how far from Dublin you live but Id guess they probably do.

According to the RUI calculator the Single fare from Heuston to Kildare (and vice versa) is 11.90 however the TVM at Heuston gave the fare as 15.00.
