Default Limerick-Ennis re-opening: when?

Some recent photos show the floods at Ballycar well below the level of the line, and given how slowly the water is receeding, this has been the case for some time. Yet the hoped-for re-opening of the line is apparently mid-May. The latest information on the IE website is dated April 7th, and it looks like a lot of water has flowed away since then.

Have IE gone asleep? Close it if you want to, or else show some urgency in re-opening it.

Lot of inspections required I would say and even possibly some track works. JP indicates services resume on 16 May.
