It took a 40 hour closure (2000 Friday to 1000 Sunday) to install two cross-overs at Sallins last year; the cross-overs had been installed by Sat afternoon but the closure went on until Sunday morning! This is quick by comparison.

Sallins was a 4 point end job, the Cherryville gig is a single point end

But they did no install the actual points during that 40 hour stoppage; they were done much during a later closure.

Dublin-Waterford - Bus to Carlow, train to Waterford. Some services require two buses, with changes at Kildare and Carlow. Services via Limerick Junction require a bus change at Portlaoise.
Dublin-Cork/Tralee/Limerick - Bus to Portlaoise, train to destination. Dublin-Galway/Westport/Ballina - Bus to Portarlington, train to destination.

Newbridge-Kildare - bus substitutions
No mention of this..Cherryville is AFTER Kildare so why is Sallins-Kildare also closed! Also no services after 1900 on Sat!!! Surely such disruption warrants a detailed notice and a 'check the homepage' message.
