Services temporarily suspended Clongriffin to Malahide, points fault. Dub Bus accepting tickets, hope to have fault rectified in 30-60 mins
For Clongirffin use Dublin Bus route 15 or 29a.

Portmarnock 32 or 102 (from Sutton or Malahide DART).

Malahide 32, 42, 102 (from Sutton DART) or 142.

Thank God I missed all that, just about. 4 carriages on peak trains, so no seats after Balbriggan. I assume they needed all the suburban carriages on country services today.

Doubt there was too much overcrowding today, most services I saw were very lightly loaded.

Complete mess made of 0935 Dublin/Belfast - 29k ex Connolly with passengers turfed out at Drogheda and delayed there for at least 45 minutes while a new locomotive was attached to the set of the 0650 from Belfast which had failed at Dundalk earlier.

As a result of the delay to the 0935, the 1235 from Belfast was about an hour late leaving Portadown and was further delayed by the latest points failure at Malahide. It reached Dublin at 1626 just ahead of the delayed 1405 from Belfast which arrived at 1635.
