Default Irish Rail Ads on the Radio

Anyone else hear these joyous ads on the radio?

Telling us to ditch our cars and make for the train, because its quicker, more comfortable and will save you a packet (*).

Brought a smile to my cynical face this morning anyway.
I hope it comes on some morning as i'm crushed in on the Maynooth train stuck outside Connolly for ages.

(*) Prices does not include forthcoming rip off car parking fees.

On most routes there isn't space for more passengers in the first place.

The biggest reason people don't use the train (assuming they are lucky enough to live close to a station) is since its overcrowded, has a patchy timetable, poor connections and of course they had a bad experience and gave up some time ago

Of course intercity has shot itself in the foot by actually getting slower at a time when the roads are getting so much better

Could be grounds for complaint given the dream world vs the reality and of course financial savings are all relative
