Default Safety issue

The 0730 from Greystones to Malahide yesterday released its doors short of the platform between Lansdowne Road and GCD at around 0829. Has anyone got the safety report details? (Or is it worth it?)

Put it in writing to the RSC. They have the power to access the onboard CCTV.

We had an issue a while back on a morning train from Maynooth openeing doors outside Connolly.

Did anything ever come from the back of that? any conclusions or findings from the RSC?

Seems to be far too many door release issues, seems to be more human than technical since it effects lots of different trains

Still though it requires two buttons to be pushed together and curiously its always in the morning

Got a reply from the RSC today saying that IÉ were already aware of the matter and were investigating it.

Ah, that's OK then . . .

Did they give any indication that they would update you with the findings ?

There is clearly something amiss here, what odds the doors on the normal side, left facing the front are always the ones which unlock?

The release buttons for the off side doors requires extra effort since its either behind a protective cover or requires the driver to leave his/her seat and cross to the opposite side

If it was a technical issue the doors would unlock on the off side as well, hell they might unlock on both sides at once
