DART disruption: Howth to Howth Junction by Corporate Communications

Tuesday 21st August - UPDATE 20.55hrs

DART services are currently suspended between Howth and Howth Junction due to an overhead line fault at Sutton.

Dublin Bus will honour rail tickets for customers travelling to and from Howth, Sutton and Bayside. Customers are advised to transfer to/from DART services at Raheny Station.

Iarnród Éireann apologises for the inconvenience caused.

Services will not resume between Howth and Howth Junction this evening, but will operate normally in the morning (Weds 22nd August).

That's an improvement, but they assume people know where to go to get the bus. Commuters probably don't, but if someone fancies a stroll in the harbour they might not. And if you get off at HJ and start looking for the bus to Howth, you'll be searching a while.
