Default Upgraded seat reservations question

I was on the Enterprise on Friday and the reservation display now says reserved Belfast-Dundalk or whatever along with the passenger name. Will this useful feature be introduced on the 22K and MK4?

The 22000 have had this feature from the start and has been operating all along. Mark IV also have it.

It says reserved from x station and the name is shown on arrival at x station. (That is whenever the reservation system is in operation).

They use it on the Sligo line. You see "Reserved from Mullingar" quite frequently which then changes into the name or number at Mullingar.

It's just a pity that people won't actually sit in the seats they booked.

As James said it like that, you really need to get on a train from it's terminus or before a major calling point to see it.

Unless your on before Limerick J the numbers booking seats beyond that are likely much lower bar a few ex Thurles so not easy to spot and likely rarely spotted on services ex Dublin considering its the starting/end point for most traffic.
