Default [01-04-2008] Poll on RTE.ie

There's a poll in the RTE website today.

Do you support the new high-speed train between Dublin and Belfast?

Yes, it will be great to get between the two cities in one hour 86% (747 votes)

No, it's too expensive 14% (126 votes)

I can't find a link to any news story.

Is this just a feeble attempt at an April Fool's joke?

There was an article about this in the Belfast Telegraph a while ago, they are just in the very early concept stages. By the looks of the poll I'd assume that something extra was in the news today, relating to the cost. Or would people who vote on internet polls be the sort of people to express an opinion on cost without hearing any cost..
