Normal service from Cork on a Sunday is 8:30 & 10:30 direct, 7:30, 9:30 and 11:30 don't run except Irish Rail don't tell you that

No €16 fares available on Mondays 8th and 22nd September. Now presumably that's because they're expecting a whole load of GAA fans to get absolutely thrashed in Dublin on the Sunday nights after the All-Ireland Finals. Now that logic makes some sense for journeys from, say, Dublin to Waterford, Kerry & Cork but I don't see the rationale for not leaving the €16 fare in place for those heading in the opposite directions! Or are they expecting all pure-blood Dubs to vacate the city en masse with the influx of culchies those weekends?!?!

I guess I should just be grateful Kerry will be lifting Sam again come the 3rd Sunday in September. . .

Its just laziness, the discount should apply towards Dublin on those dates. Probably will once they cop themselves on

Not unexpected the T&C's did indicate the fares would not apply due to GAA events
