Default Accelerated Bus Éireann coach timings on Waterford-Carlow-Dublin corridor:

New BÉ coach timetable sees Waterford-Dublin times reduced:

A new route 4 Bus Éireann Expressway timetable comes into effect this coming Sunday, 17th June. City centre to city centre journey times are slashed to
2 h 30 and there's a new route, X4, which operates in the Dublin-bound direction only and has a few journeys (early hours & late evening) which is going via Kilkenny (incidentally it serves the railway station there but this is probably only to serve that end of the city and the fact the station has bus bays and a shelter rather than for any integration purposes).

It seems the railway is being hit left, right and centre with enhanced city to city coach services. On main corridors though there should be enough business to sustain both modes.
