Any new features launching soon? I have to reapply for auto top-up as well, anyone hear of any upcoming trial windows? Thanks!

Trials, no, but wider implementation on Bus Eireann is happening between now and September with the introduction of e-purse and 1- and 7-day caps.
Irish Rail are trialling their 1- and 7-day caps at the moment, but they haven't been formally launched. http://www.nationaltransport.ie/publ...eterminations/

There is page detailing it on the leapcard page so it seems to be officially launched (albeit softly) just not being widely announced or mentioned on the Irishrail website.

Capping isn't exactly working fully, as it only offers 1 rate regardless of the type of card in use

A €15 cap is now active on some Dublin Bus buses. Exact details unclear.

Any update on the Dublin Bus cap or tickets? Seen this Monday Leap is now functional on Bus Éireann throughout the great Dublin area.

We are going to be meeting the NTA Leap Card team, so hopefully we will find out then.
What points would people like brought up? (We have a list already)

Some good news
All leap card support is now handled by Leap, so no more being passed around between Irish Rail and Leap

A rough timetable for any sort of developments would be great. Also is there a possibility of mobile version of the site. It really needs to happen since they are not keen on developing an app. Good to hear customer support is being dealt with by Leap themselves!

Dublin Bus capping will happen 'soon'.

Really been waiting for the Dublin Bus capping feature or even a product ticket.
Since I do not have access to auto top up right now I frequently run into a negative balance and may end up not needing to use the Leap card for several days. I'd like to check on the go do I need to top up before I start a journey (I guess this is only relevant towards the bus). I guess I'd like them to merge the Transport for Ireland site with the Leap site and offer some mobile version with relevant info such as fares, products, timetables and access to your Leap A/C something like what is offered in London. |

Price increases on Cork-Cobh/Midleton were only approved by the NTA subject to LEAP being rolled out by August 2014, so I guess that gives a timeline.
http://www.irishexaminer.com/ireland...es-247277.html That would mean that Cork-Mallow and the privately run 210A bus service would be the only commuter services in Cork not covered by LEAP by this time next year. |

Bus Eireann used to run it, but scrapped the route.
It's now run by Swift Taxis, who seem to have reverted to the old 10A number that was used before Bus Eireann put a 2 in front of all Cork services. The PDF timetable is up in the journey planner, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't appear for journeys http://www.journeyplanner.transportf...0002aa2_TP.pdf |

I searched for 10a and 210a and nothing is listed. That link doesn't work! |

It only seems to appear if you put in exact stops on its route. There's nothing there if you look by number or try to include it in a journey
Try looking for a journey from "Bernadette Way Cork Ballinlough (Cork City)" to "Mahon Point Retail Park" and it will show up! |

Ah!
It is not numbered in the NTA Planner - it's the "Cork-Mahon Point" bus service! |

That Cap is very high considering you can get a 1 Day Dublin Bus Rambler Ticket for €6.90.
