Not sure how they would respond. The bus is basicly a detour off the Limerick - Shannon route a few times a day* Even if they add more services they can't avoid the railway bridges and slow journey time.

*I have not looked at the timetable recently but it was always sh1te.

I Rang Ennis train station there and they gave me the following train fares from Sixmilebridge railway station:

Sixmilebridge-Ennis
Single -7.00 Euros
Day Return- 9.50 Euros

Sixmilebridge-Limerick
Single-7.00 Euros
Day Return- 9.50 Euros

Sixmilebridge-Dublin Heuston
5 day Return-47.00 Euros

Forgot to ask about Sixmilebridge-Galway fares. Station will be open Tuesday morning March the 30th for business.

Sixmilebridge actually has a decent service unlike the rest of the new stations, thats the big difference

Indeed, about 10 trains per day is pretty good.
