That’s the result of the long running mentoring dispute which wasn’t helped by the previous CEO who dug his heels in.

Hopefully when the current crop of trainees are passed out this problem will be consigned to history.

Unions refuse to train like they have historically done. Now its compulsory so in effect they have made it worse for themselves.

Not true, unions haven't got anything new really part from speeded up negotiations about a shorter week which were agreed under the old CEO. Ironic thing is shorter week requires more drivers to be trained to achieve.....
