Special fares for Munster Club Hurling Final - Na Piarsaigh V Crusheen - Sunday 27th November 2011 by Marketing Department

Iarnród Éireann is providing a limited number of special reduced fares for Crusheen and Na Piarsaigh supporters travelling to the Munster club hurling final in Thurles on Sunday 27th November.

These special reduced fares are only available online or by calling our customer information center on 1850 366 222 (Mon-Fri 08:30 - 18:00 excluding public holidays).

The special fares are as follows;

€15 for adults and €8 for children from Ennis
€10 for adults and €6 for children from Limerick
Book now to avail of these special fares.

These fares are valid for outward travel on the 11.45 hrs train from Ennis and the 12.35hrs train from Limerick which is due to arrive into Thurles at 13.20hrs. Trains return from Thurles to Limerick at 16.57hrs and to Ennis at 17.18hrs.

Semple Stadium Thurles, as GAA fans are aware, is just a 10 minute walk from the train station in Thurles.

Semple Stadium is actually only 5-7 minutes away.

Probably best to avoid the 12:35 Limerick-Dublin train if planning to go to Dublin from Limerick.

Plus the return train is 16:58 not 16:57 :P

16:58 Thurles-Limerick again probably best to avoid this as who knows how big the crowd of people could be on this train.

€15 Ennis-Thurles isn't too bad a fare though even if it is a 2700 for half the journey.
