Default Phoenix Park next train platform display

Just arrived at phoenix park station to get a citybound train its 22:00 on a sunday evening i l looked at the next train display

- the clock says its 07:19 (7:19am)

- the next train is the 14:59 train to pearse

- just to be pedantic this pearse bound train will call at "broomebridge"

maybe they would have being better off not turning it on at all

The indicators at Phoenix Park station have been displaying rubbish for weeks, if not months. Onboard information systems on commuter and DART services frequently announce the wrong station/destination/direction. Many of the newer displays are driven by the timetable and simply dump trains when the due time has passed.

The online realtime displays are erratic and, at least in the case of Heuston arrivals information is no longer readily available.

Hey! You're lucky to have one at all. At Maynooth we can regularly expect vocal warnings NOT TO BOARD THE TRAIN ON PLATFORM 2 while two displays stand idle.
