06:30 from Portlaoise To Heuston - Constantly Late
Does anybody know why the 06:30 from Portlaoise is constantly at least 10 minutes late? It arrives in Kildare anytime after 7am when timetable says it should be 06:52am. Most mornings I get it, the train does not arrive in Heuston until 07:50am which is almost 10mins.
For only the third train of the morning it does not make sense how there can be delays so earlier. |

I am guessing this is to do with speed limits south of Kildare. I use it sometimes too (from Newbridge) and it is always reliably late.

It is the speed restriction, plus its the first train of the day from Portloaise which causes some trouble with the leaves

the 7.40 from Portlaoise is no better.
It is due into Portarlington at 7.51......8.03 recently. |
