Enterprise Fares and who gains?
This is a quick question, if anyone knows.
If I buy a ticket from Irish Rail for the enterprise, do they have to share the proceeds with Translink and vice-versa, when I buy a ticket from translink, do they have to share the proceeds with irish rail? |

I presume they do have some sort of fare share agreement, where they work it out over the month / year.
There are 3 Enterprise train sets. For simplicity, Irish Rail maintain the locomotives, NIR the carriages, they seem to have separate crews, I don't know about fuel and sundries.

I wonder how much of a loss they are making with £7.50 day returns on nearly all enterprise services compared to €20 on irish rail but then its easier to get people to go to belfast these days!
