Cancelled train this morning

The 7.00 train from Hazelhatch this morning was cancelled. No announcement was mad at the platform regarding this. The only way we found out was that the lady at the ticket office told a customer who was a friend of hers.

An announcement was made advising customers from Hazelhatch, Clondalkin and Cherry Orchard to get on the next train to Heuston and that the 7.35 train in Heuston would be delayed to wait for these customers.

Next train to arrive was the 7.17 (which was late). This stopped only at Hazelhatch & Adamstown (as usual)

So how late did they hold the 7.35 train??

I got the 0800 Cork Train, which took on all the inbounds of that train and didn't leave till 0820,

then stopped at all the commuter stations to drop off.

However, after the last commuter stop [ kildare ? ] the driver put the pedal to the metal [ I was going to Limerick ] , as did the the Junction/Limerick driver

and we were into limerick only 10 minutes late


Just shows you how much padding is in the system. Cause I believe was a bust railcar.
