Don't talk to me about buses being quicker. I caught the 10:30 bus from Portlaoise today because I was late for work yesterday catching the 11:23 train due to engineering works in Thurles according to the station annoucer in Portlaoise.
Anyhow The bus didn't get to Heuston until 12:20. Isn't that an awful long time for a 50 mile journey? |

The bus is no quicker because it has to serve Cloughjordan. If Cloughjordan was eliminated the bus would cover Ballybrophy Limerick in 90 mins easy.
Shame IE are allowing the branch to slowly kill itself. |

I agree 100% there. Sad state of affairs.

But should it not be encouraging that it's for track improvement works?
