Exclamation Ticket Checks on Cork Local Services

With effect from Monday there will be a significant increase in the number of ticket checks on the Cork-Cobh and Cork Midleton services.

Passengers who board at unstaffed stations do not require a ticket before boarding the train. Anyone who encounters any 'attitude' from ticket checking staff let us know.

The software in the ticket vending machines will be upgraded on Tuesday which should speed things up and should add extra ticket types and destinations. Ultimately it will be possible to collect a ticket purchased online at Midleton and Carrigtwohill from the ticket vending machines.
